Sheila and Ilonggo artists have fun

Prior to the most-awaited Camella Lessandra 2nd Year anniversary show last August 28, the Ilonggo music artists that include Reyn Callao, Sheila Barrios and Cherry Callao of Ilonggo 3nity with the newest Ilonggo rap group that recently released their inspiring single “Changes”—All Out Kingz, soon-to-be-introduced local singing siren Irish Denopol had a great time bonding together. Their fun day started in the afternoon at their exclusive makeover sponsor, Akon Salon at Marymart Mall with owner Quim. The girls we’re given the best makeover treatment for the show by 3PM. Then, almost 5PM, Camella’s shuttle van arrived to pick the Ilonggo music artists for a fun tripping around the city and finally headed to Lessandra site in Gorriceta Avenue, Pavia, Iloilo. They were all thankful for the warm accommodation of Camella Iloilo General Manager, Lily Donasco and her staff. Hours before the show, they also had the best time chatting with each other and getting to know everyone. The best thing about these artists is that they started to create a unique rapport and actually, the most common thing about them is that they reside in one place—Bo. Obrero in Iloilo City.
One great show with jam-packed Ilonggo artists, cultural pride and yes, passion to perform. The show started 7PM.

simple dreams

Sheila's "Ginpalangga" look-back

The simple girl with simple dreams in life is sharing her talents for music unexpectedly. With the release of her first independent single "Ginpalangga" last May this year, Sheila Barrios proved that simple dreams can also become her key to share her talent and passion for music. As a female vocalist and singer, she proved that Ilonggas can sing with a heart. Under the guidance of rslphoenix music, she performed in various places and venues including a major performance at SM City Iloilo last May 20 and able to endorsed Camella's Savannah community through her first music video. She performed live on TV via Arangkada, GMA Iloilo's top-rating morning show. Her photo shoots with her emerging vocal pop group Ilonggo 3nity with Reyn and Cherry Callao, Sheila is a little songstress ready to prove that pure musical talents, good voice and witty personality is a step forward in making a future diva. No question about it, she's got a good voice and the rest is up to her to reach out for her dreams.
"Ginpalangga" turned out to be the first music video done by an Ilongga locally with an indie film style. But the best of all, Sheila remains simple, cheerful and down-to-earth as an Ilonggo artist.

voice of a girl

Sheila serenades Bo. Obrero Fiesta Queen

Gifted with a unique singing voice and love for music, Ilongga songstress Sheila Barrios was invited to serenade the 2010 Bo. Obrero Fiesta Queen last August 14 at Bo. Obrero Plaza. Highlighting her strong melodic voice, she was tasked perform Christina Aguilera’s “Reflection,” a soundtrack of Walt Disney animated film “Mulan.” With the coronation’s classy theme which is “Phantom of the Opera,” Sheila came to the event wearing a violet-colored bouffant gown and rendering a soulful song number. The song suited this Fiesta Queen’s personal journey from a young girl to a blooming lady. Sheila can also relate to the song as she tries to rediscover her unique singing gift when she started singing and recording last April.

Sheila’s musical journey is just starting and now she embraces a new challenge to prove herself better as a member of Ilonggo 3nity, an Ilonggo vocal pop group.
