Ilonggo Beat Set to Entertain on Dec. 17
Be thrilled, entertained and promote the Ilonggo’s cultural pride for pop and hiphop music this coming December 17, 5 p.m. at the Activity Center of Gaisano City Capital with “Ilonggo Beat,” a mini-concert event featuring local Ilonggo music artist groups such as Ilonggo 3nity, All Out Kingz and SYK Unit. Ilonggo 3nity is a trio of Ilonggo pop singers Reyn Callao, Sheila Barrios and Cherry Callao whose members have already released Ilonggo songs both in Iloilo and Bacolod FM stations. Their latest group single “Badtrip” along with solo singles “Bahala Ka Na,” “Sa Handum Na Guid Lang” and “Ikaw Guid Lang” were the first Ilonggo songs played at Radio 4U 93.5FM in Rockhampton City, Queensland, Australia every Sunday afternoon that started last November 14. All Out Kingz is a rap group composed of Kudafie, Stan, Chaiz and female vocalist, Mz. JT. Their first single “Changes” is a testimony of inspiration for young people today. They are set to release their first full-length independent album this month. SYK Unit is a collective group of talented, street-smart and creative rappers whose songs became hiphop legend in Iloilo for almost a decade now. Their latest album is a collection of fresh and funky Ilonggo rap songs.
