Sheila goes indie music video

Sheila is preparing to release her first indie music video for “Ginpalangga.” We call it “indie” because it’s more like an independent effort from a group of Ilonggo artists in rslphoenix music who envision something nice for Sheila as a local singer. These days, nothing is new with indie films. As long as you have the right inspiration, creativity and some gadgets, anything is possible. And for a local singer like Sheila who happens to be an Ilongga with passion for singing, making this indie music video is an expression of creativity and style. Furthermore, it will deeply tell the story of how she wrote the song and what are the emotions involved in it.

Sheila was a bit surprised to finally realize that her indie music video involves a lot of elements, creative people and cast. One of them is Manuel Jorilla, a recent model for the new issue of itravel Philippines. He is tall, cool and a nice friend of Sheila since the launching of itravel TV started in SM City Iloilo. For Manuel, taking part in this creative project is also a form of self-expression and exposure. Next, we have her cousin Cherry Callao who happens to be enthusiastic to join the video shoot. This young girl is also good-looking and very close to Sheila. The creative direction of the music video was shared by rslphoenix and Angelbert Diocena, who happens to love Sheila’s voice. They will bring out the best in her and will tell a tragic love triangle in a very-indie film style. Whatever comes up with the video shoot is a work of art for all of them. As usual, Sheila shot most of the scenes in Savannah Trails Clubhouse, a part of a very popular residential community of Camella located in Pulo Maestra Vita in Oton, Iloilo.

As soon as editing for “Ginpalangga” music video is done, we will announce the premiere date in her youtube channel and webpage. For now, enjoy listening to the song by requesting it at local FM stations.
