2-day Guimaras Vacation

Taking a break from her schedule of performances, Sheila together with Reyn Callao and Ezzy of SYK Unit had a two-day vacation in Morobuan, Guimaras, a small community in the north western part of Guimaras Island. It is almost an hour boat-ride from Iloilo City with only one boat ride per day (6AM). The place is serene but exciting destination to visit with friendly people. The place is blessed with beautiful seashore and attractions for visitors who appreciates simple provincial lifestyle.

But Sheila can’t seem to get away from her hectic singing schedule when she was requested by the people in the community to perform a song number for a wedding and of course, she performed her Ilonggo song “Ginpalangga” which is a very familiar song over local FM stations. They appreciated her presence during the event. In the afternoon, the group headed for a fun swimming activity in the waterfalls just a few minutes walk distance from the community. The next day, they headed home to Iloilo City as early as 6AM through a boat ride.

Sheila @ Sarabia Manor Hotel Wedding

Sheila Barrios was invited to perform her two Ilonggo hit singles in a wedding at the Kalantiao Hall of Sarabia Manor Hotel last December 16, 2010 at 7PM. The wedding was a grandiose event attended by Sheila through the invitation of her stylist Nik-Nik Manderico who provides her with wardrobes and clothes in various events she attended. The crowd appreciated and enjoyed the songs of Sheila who happens to be catchy and heartwarming.

Encore... fashion and music features Sheila and Ilonggo 3nity

itravel Philippines event “Encore...Fashion and Music” was participated in by Ilonggo 3nity and Sheila Barrios last December 18, 2010 at Tigbauan Gym. Also present during the show are All Out Kingz and SYK Unit who performed their Ilonggo rap songs. For the first part of the show, Sheila, Reyn and Cherry of Ilonggo 3nity were given a very dramatic approach with their music and songs before their performance. Sheila performed her Ilonggo songs as well as their group song “Badtrip.” The second part is a fashion show featuring the designs of Ilonggo designer, Ram Silva and Ilonggo fashion models. After the fashion show, the second half of Ilonggo artists performance took place before an energetic show band entertained the crowd.

Sheila performed at MOR 91.1 and ABS-CBN Iloilo’s Ilonggo Music Awards

Sheila performed her Ilonggo smash hit songs “Ginpalangga” and “Sa Handum Na Guid Lang” at the performance night of the first Ilonggo Music Awards organized by MOR 91.1 and ABS-CBN Iloilo last December 15, 7PM at Jaq’s Bar located at Smallville complex. Sheila was nominated for Best Female Artist along with her cousin, Reyn Callao for Best in Male Artist. SYK Unit, their closest rap group friends was also nominated for Best Hip-Hop Group. The event is a gathering of the best of the best Ilonggo music artists from solo artists to group acts ranging from Hip-Hop, Rock to Reggae. During the performance night, they were given scores as 60% of the total score while the rest came from text voting. The awarding ceremony was held last December 17 at the fountain area of Robinsons Place Iloilo, 7PM. Sheila received a certificate of recognition as one of the finalists for the Best Female Artist.

Sheila performs @ Ilonggo Beat

Sheila Barrios and her Ilonggo 3nity bandmates performed at Ilonggo Beat, the mini-concert set by Ilonggo music artists at Gaisano City Capital Iloilo last December 17, 5PM. Joining the show includes Ilonggo rap groups All Out Kingz and SYK Unit. They performed their original Ilonggo rap songs and entertained the mall-goers with their talents. Clifford and Vhouying King of SYK Unit co-hosted the show. It turned out to be a fun show and a venue to highlight the best of Ilonggo music. In fact, the mall manager was thrilled with the way they capture the interest and attention of the audience that convinced him to ask the Ilonggo artists to come back again the next day to perform for the extended show. The event is sponsored by Camella Iloilo, Natividad Realty, Home Sweet Home Realty and ACSI Computer College.

Sheila joins All Out Kingz Badiangan mini-show

Sheila Barrios took part in the mini-concert of All Out Kingz at Tina National High School in Badiangan, Iloilo last December 16, 2010 from 1 to 3 PM. Also present during the show are SYK members Lyzie Mac and Lorjan who also performed with the group. The event turned to be an exciting Christmas party for the students of the school who happens to be the biggest fan of All Out Kingz and their songs. The Ilonggo artists were surprised with the excitement and warm welcome of the students. They were personally greeted and had picture taking with the crowd. Though the school is located in a far rural area, the crowd was nice and appreciative of their music. Sheila performed her Ilonggo smash hit songs “Ginpalangga” and “Sa Handum Na Guid Lang.” The event was also possible through the effort of Pastor Larry and the teachers of the school who prepared sumptuous meal and pasalubongs for them.
