Sheila’s Reflection at The News Express

Sheila Barrios, an uprising Ilongga singer known for her first single “Ginpalangga,” a catchy Ilonggo ballad song was recently featured in The News Express, another well-known Iloilo-based newspaper through the lifestyle column (Pasticcio) of Roger Rueda. The dream and gift for music of this 16-year-old girl was unveiled in the article proving that Ilonggo talents has got what it takes to succeed in music. Though locally launched, Sheila is still a potential and promising talent for her passion since she can belt out with any kind of song with her “vocal flexibility.” She hopes to inspire young Ilonggos to never give up their dreams and think positively.

Sheila is scheduled to perform live at SM City Iloilo on May 20 for the launching of itravel Philippines magazine and TV program in line with the mall’s annual “Fiestas in the City” tourism event.
