Sheila Barrios performs at Battle Mania Philippines
Rising Ilonggo pop songstress, Sheila Barrios recently performed her popular Ilonggo song “Ginpalangga” at Battle Mania Philippines in Iloilo City last January 21, 2011 at Jaro Covered Gym. The event is a rare opportunity for Hip hop culture enthusiasts and fans in Western Visayas to unite and celebrate the influence Hip hop music, dance and a lot more. Competitions includes Freestyle Rap Battle (flip top), 2-on-2 B-boying (breakdance) and Group Rap War where contestants came from Bacolod City and Iloilo City. Judges of the competitions are also hip hop culture practitioners and artists who came to unite with Ilonggos for a special event. Other guest performances include Southsyd Souljaz, R-nic, Reyn Callao, All Out Kingz and SYK Unit. The event is organized by P. Sifee Production, Patrick Bucabal with Critical Breakdown Organization, Jaro Agro-Industrial and Charity Fair with Association of Brgy. Captains-Jaro Chapter. It is co-presented and sponsored by Coca-Cola, San Miguel Corporation, RGMA TV-6, Campus Radio 93.5, Panay News, RSLPhoenix Music, ACSI Computer College, Villa Sagrado, Brainwest, Southsyd Souljaz Recording Studio and SYKwrecords.
